TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  1. PURPOSE

     The properties are let for holiday purposes only. Ray White Killcare offers privately owned homes in residential areas for the purpose of          family holidays or a relaxing get away. They are not for use as "party venues". Offensive, loud or anti- social behaviour will result in              immediate cancellation of your stay with no refund.

     Functions and parties are strictly NOT permitted.

     We, or our nominee, reaserve the right to enter the premises without notice and without prior consent at the absolute discretion of the            Agent.

 

  1. LINEN

     Linen and toiletries are not provided e.g. sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats, tea towels and tablecloths, unless specified.

If we find that guests have slept on beds without using sheets and pillowcases, the guests will be charged for laundering where necessary.

 

  1. ALL PREMISES are privately owned and are furnished and decorated to the Owner’s individual standards. Guests are advised to inspect the property before securing the booking to ensure satisfaction with the property. Ray White Killcare will not be responsible for or make refunds to people who are not satisfied with the accommodation they have booked. Ray White Killcare reserves the right to refuse any booking request it deems not to be in the best interest of the owner or the property.

 

  1. NUMBER OF GUESTS

         The maximum number of persons (including children)  permitted to occupy the booked premises will form part of the booking contract and            will be nominated upon booking.

         Overcrowding and extra guests are not permitted and an extra charge of $50 per night per person will apply if this condition is              breached.

 

  1. NO PETS

     Animals are not permitted in any holiday accommodation

     unless the property is advertised as pet friendly and / or the owner has approved.

 

  1. TO SECURE A BOOKING:-

A non refundable booking fee of $50 applies to all bookings.

Weekend bookings and weekend bookings require a 50% deposit on booking with the balance due two weeks prior to your s

Christmas bookings require a $500 deposit if the booking is confirmed prior to the 30th of June and half payment of the remaining booking amount is due on or before the 1st of July. The final balance and bond if applicable will be due on or before the 1st of December.

Payments can be made by internet transfer, cheque, money order, Mastercard or Visa.

Payments on credit card will attract a 2.5% (subject to change) surcharge.

security bond (amount to be confirmed) aplies to all bookings and will be processed on a nominated credit card in the days prior to arrival and refunded after the cleaner has checked the property. Please allow up to 7 days.

  7.       REBOOKINGS

Guests are given the first opportunity to re-book the property they are renting for the corresponding period the following year. Re-bookings must be made by the Wednesday after arrival. A deposit will be required to secure the booking.

 

  1. SECURITY BOND

will be payable on all bookings and will be processed on your nominated credit card    (Mastercard or Visa) will be debited prior to arrival.

Refund of the bond will be effected within 7 days, following a satisfactory inspection of the premises after guests have vacated.

Please note bond payments will not attract a credit card surcharge.

  1. CANCELLATIONS – All monies are only refunded when the premises are re-let for the entire booking period at the same or greater  rent. All cancellations will incur an Administration fee of $150. If the stay is shortened the unused portion of the rental is not  refundable. Please note a change of booking date attracts the same conditions as for cancellations.

 

  1. OFFICE HOURS

    Office hours are from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and  9am to 4pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.

 

  11.  KEYS are to be collected and returned to our office. For after hours arrivals, please notify the office to make alternative arrangements.

         Only one set of keys will be supplied for each property. 

         Should the keys be lost, the guest is responsible for any cost involved in replacing the keys and if this occurs outside office hours a $50              call out fee will apply.

 

  1. ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE TIMES:-

       Weekend bookings from 2pm on the day of arrival and the premises must be vacated before 3pm on the day of departure.

       Arrivals for Weekly and Christmas bookings are 3pm on the day of arrival and the premises must be vacated before 9am on the day of              departure.

       A late departure fee of $100 will be payable if departure times are not adhered too.

 

  1. PROPERTY DAMAGE The guest will be responsible for any loss or damage to the property or premises during their stay.

This includes floors and floor coverings, furniture and fittings, kitchen utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery. The guest will pay the full cost of replacement or repair of any such items damaged or lost. All damages, breakages or losses are to be reported to the agent immediately. All costs will be taken from the bond or credit card details supplied. All furniture and equipment must be left in the premises as originally found.

 

14.   REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE

        Any repairs, maintenance or service reported and requested by guests to be effected to the property or any equipment provided at the               property, (and or deemed necessary by the agent), will be effected as soon as practicable. Recompense will be negotiated at the owner’s         discretion.

The guest allows the Agent or his nominee to enter the property to arrange necessary repairs during reasonable hours (unless an emergency situation could exist or arise) for the purpose of conducting any repairs, maintenance or service. Guests requesting a service call which is subsequently found not to be required will be charged the applicable service call out fee.

 

  1. CLEANING

Although a cleaning fee is paid, it does not include the making of beds, cleaning of dishes, ovens, cooktops or refridgerators.
Failure to do so will incur an additional cleaning fee
Dishwashers must be left empty and Bbq's clean. Failure to do so will incur a $25 fee which will be deducted from your bond.

Please leave the property how you found it, furniture must not be moved and doing so may forfeit your bond.

 

    16.  RUBBISH is to be put into the receptacles provided and placed kerbside for collection on Sunday evening or on departure. 

          Rubbish will only be collected from the receptacles provided. Any additional rubbish is the guests responsibility and a rubbish removal fee           will apply. On departure please ensure all personal rubbish is removed from the premises.

 

     17.  LIABILITY 

       NO liability is accepted for any injury, debt, damage, loss, delay, expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly  by events                  beyond the Agent or Owner’s control.

 

    18.   PERSONAL PROPERTY

      No responsibility is taken for guests personal property left on or near the premises. Doors and windows at the premises should be secured       at all times. Guests are responsible for insuring their own property. A fee of $20 plus postage costs will be payable if the agent is required         to collect / return items left by guests. Should items not be claimed within 1 month, they will be discarded by the Agent.

19.    FUNCTIONS/ NOISE POLLUTION: 

       Our accommodation is for residential purposes only. The use of a property for a party, function or any other gathering is strictly not                  permitted. We ask that you and your guests respect and preserve the residential amenity of the property and refrain from engaging in                any drunken, or antisocial behaviour. Noise pollution is a punishable offence by law and as such we reserve the right to immediately                terminate the tenancy for any breach of this condition or for the holding of a function or party.

20.   DISRUPTIONS

       In the event of any renovation / building work being carried out near the holiday premises, such work is beyond the Agent’s control and            cannot accept responsibility for any disturbance, noise or inconvenience guests may suffer as a result. No discount will be negotiated for          any of the above.

21.   DISCLAIMER

       This booking is made in good faith by the Agent, but we cannot be held responsible for actions taken by the owner of the premises which          are outside our control.

       Any printed, written or verbal description of the premises or position by the Agent or an employee is made in good faith and to the best of          our knowledge; however no responsibility for misdescription, errors or omissions can be accepted. All courtesy will be given on genuine            dissatisfaction. Any information or terms and conditions contained in holiday brochures or related websites are subject to alteration without        notice.
